Beanie, Today you start school. Actually, you started school about 15 minutes ago, as I write this. I know you are going to have a fantastic year this year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to be as involved this year as I have the rest of your life, but your dad promised both of us that after this year you will come back to me. You, me, MS and MJT will all be back together in June.
I want you to know that the decision to have you go to your dad's this year was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. It took a lot of praying for me to understand that this really is the best thing for you this year. Your dad and MD will take very good care of you, and you will have a better, longer lasting relationship with him because of it.
I think the hardest part will be in 115 days, when I finish my school and I go to join MS and MJT in New York. Mostly because you have 285 days before you will come to New York to be with us. I cherish every moment I have with you in the next 115 days, and I will be there with you whenever I can. Know that I love you and I will always be there for you. I am never more than a phone call away.
